Travel Nurse (RN) - Case Management

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have completed 1 prior travel assignment: Case Manager in outpatient clinic, working setting acute hospital; experience with care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, and ordering DME.
• Must have medical inpatient experience.
• Must have experience in the IMC or Med Surg unit.
• Previous Charge Experience: Required

Required Credentials:

• For DC locations – You must have DC license in hand, but certain units accept pending (See JD). MedStar will usually accept a later booking date if you have applied for DC licensure.
• For MD Locations – You must have compact license or MD license.

Special Requests:

• Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this.
• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details:

• Adult and geriatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Mon-Fri.
• No on-call requirement; traveler can pick up weekends if desired and available/they are needed.
• Holiday shifts may be required: Memorial Day Mon 5/25/26, Independence Day Sat 7/4/26, Labor Day Mon 9/7/26.

Floating Requirements:

• Float throughout patient tower across MedSurg units as necessary.
