Required Skills/Experience:
2 years of OR experience is required
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Scrubbing is preferred for RNs.
Special Requests:
Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details:
The OR handles 15-20 cases per day, including high-volume orthopedic cases such as total joints, as well as general, gynecologic, pediatric, and eye cases; experience with pediatric and eye cases is not required.
Cardiac cases are also performed, including open-heart procedures, carotid endarterectomies, TAVRs, etc.; travelers will not be assigned to these cases.
Philips telemetry is used.
Shift & Scheduling:
Start times vary; the manager sets the schedule.
RN call requirement: 1 call night per week.
Weekend call requirement: 1 weekend per month.
Call response time: 30 min.
Holiday work is required only in emergencies.
