Additional Information
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must have experience with mechanical circulatory support.
- Q4 thermal dilution/FICK cardiac output monitoring.
- Management of advanced/critically ill heart failure.
Special Requests:
- Minimal RTO is needed, with a desired length of 3-5 days.
- Contract lengths of 13, 20, or 26 weeks may be available.
Unit Details:
- Adult and geriatric patient population.
- Cares for cardiac surgery ICU, vascular surgery, cardiac medicine, advanced heart failure, and mechanical circulatory support patients (IABP, impella, ECMO, durable VAD).
- 70% of the population has one of the following: IABP, impella, ECMO, durable VAD, Swan, CVVH, tandem heart.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend and holiday.
Floating Requirements:
- Will be required to float to other adult ICUs, as needed.
