Required Skills/Experience: Must have PACU or ICU experience.
Unit Details: Travelers cover both phase 1 and phase 2 recovery. Common cases: lap chole, bariatric, debridements, ortho, neuro. Occasional ICU patient recovery. RNs read strips.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Schedule is made 6 weeks out. Call required: 4 weeknights per month, 24-36 hours of weekend call per month depending on staffing, 1 holiday per year, 30-minute response time.
Floating Requirements: First to float; float between ACU and PACU, including ACU/pre-op/phase 2. PACU RNs assist with pre-op and discharge as needed.
Required Credentials: RN jobs in the following units: Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, ED/ER, Endoscopy, any ICU/critical care, IR, LTAC ICU, Med-Surg/Tele, Tele, PACU, Stepdown/PCU are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
