Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any).

Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.

Required Credentials:

  • Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests:

  • RTO must be listed at time of submission.
  • Any and all lab items requested during onboarding must be completed within 72 hours of signing the contract; candidates must be responsive and willing to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
  • You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
  • Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with the network; if a former employee, must have left in good status.

Unit Details:

  • Pediatric and adolescent inpatient acute crisis unit caring for medically stable patients ages 6-17.
  • Unit has separate child and adolescent sides; children are usually having dysregulation/behavior issues, and adolescents are often admitted for acute suicidal ideation or attempt.
  • Uses Humane Wrap and Hover Jack when transporting patients to the secure room.
  • Expected ratios: 1:5 and 1:10 NOCS.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • No call.
  • Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:

  • May float to other units based on skill set and patient needs.
  • May float to Providence facilities including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent.
  • If floating consecutive shifts to Seaside, hotel accommodations will be offered. Facility agrees to give as much notice as possible when floating to Seaside.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
