Required Skills/Experience:
First-time travelers are not preferred but may be considered based on experience and skill set.
Experience with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, amputees, multiple trauma, hip fractures, bilateral knee replacements, patients recovering from cardiac surgery or COVID-19, medically complex or debilitated patients, orthopedic procedures, general orthopedics, sports medicine, developmental pediatrics, higher-functioning neurological diagnoses, and surgical or nonsurgical spinal patients is required.

Time-off requests are discussed during the interview.
Unit Details:
Inpatient rehabilitation patients include those with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, amputations, multiple trauma, hip fractures, bilateral knee replacements, postsurgical cardiac conditions, post-COVID conditions, and medically complex or debilitating conditions.
Acute care patients include those with postsurgical cardiac conditions, postsurgical orthopedic conditions, and medically complex or debilitating conditions.
Outpatient cases include general orthopedics (surgical and nonsurgical), sports medicine, developmental pediatrics, higher-functioning neurological diagnoses, and spinal patients (surgical and nonsurgical).
Skilled nursing patients have a case mix similar to inpatient rehabilitation.
Skilled nursing charting uses AOD and is transitioning to Meditech Expanse.
Shift & Scheduling:
The schedule is Monday through Friday.
Hours depend on location.
Weekend coverage varies by setting: outpatient has no weekend coverage, while inpatient rehabilitation and acute care typically require one weekend per month.
No call.
No holiday coverage.
Floating Requirements:
No floating between facilities unless otherwise specified.
