Required Skills/Experience:
More acute CCU or CVSICU experience is needed.
2 years current CCU/CVSICU nursing experience is required.
Experience with cardiac equipment such as Impella, IABP, and PA catheters, plus CRRT experience, is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
ECMO experience preferred.
Preferred Credentials:
Trauma course preferred.
Unit Details:
The unit is high acuity and cares for patients with acute myocardial infarction and complications including cardiogenic shock, post-infarction angina, and congestive heart failure.
Almost all patients have some type of cardiac device, including Impella, IABP, ECMO, CRRT, PA catheters, and LVADs.
Floating Requirements:
Float as needed to an area of like skill set.
