Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Mechanical circulatory support experience required.
- Specific and documented CVICU or related experience required.
- Q4 thermal dilution/FICK cardiac output monitoring required.
- Management of advanced/critically ill heart failure required.
Special Requests:
- Minimal RTO is needed, with a desired length of 3-5 days.
Unit Details:
- Adult and geriatric patient population.
- Cardiac surgery ICU, vascular surgery, cardiac medicine, advanced heart failure, and mechanical circulatory support cases.
- 70% of the patient population has one of the following: IABP, Impella, ECMO, durable VAD, Swan, CVVH, or TandemHeart.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend/holiday.
Floating Requirements:
- Will be required to float to other adult ICUs, as needed.
