Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers accepted if they have Level I Trauma experience.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: Local travelers accepted for Surgical Services positions; IN residents are considered local. IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities, except Periop/OR, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.

Unit Details: Circulating position only; scrubbing not required. Adult and geriatric patient population. Core 5 cases include heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, ECMO, and endovascular procedures.

Shift & Scheduling: Call required: approx 100 hrs/6 wks. 1 call weekend per 6 weeks (Friday evening to Monday morning). Must work 2/3 major holidays. Flexible contract hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek. 3, 12 hr shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.

Floating Requirements: Float required to other OR specialties.
