Required Skills/Experience:
Experience working in an ER that is high volume and high acuity is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Level II trauma experience or above is preferred.
Special Requests:
An interview may not be available prior to offer.
Holiday RTO will be considered, however not guaranteed.
Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details:
Patient volume is 155 per day; common patient types include trauma, stroke, pediatric, and psychiatric cases.
Some travelers may take trauma patients depending on their experience.
GE telemetry equipment is used.
Ventilated patients are cared for.
Hospitalists and intensivists are in-house 24/7.
No IV team is available.
Respiratory therapy and pharmacy are available 24/7.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend is required.
Holidays are worked into the permanent staff rotation.
On-call is one day per month; if it is your call team's turn, it could be 2 days per month. When the call schedule is released, you have 3 days to sign up before being assigned to call.
Schedules are made out at least 2 weeks in advance, with self-scheduling by seniority.
