Travel Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation Unit

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty.

Required Credentials:

• No temp licenses accepted.
• All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test.

Unit Details:

• Inpatient rehabilitation setting caring for patients after their acute hospital stay, including stroke, hip fracture, and pulmonary patients.
• Patients continue to receive hospital care and close medical supervision while participating in the rehab program.
• Every patient receives 24-hour medical monitoring and care by the physiatrist, nurse practitioners/physician assistants, and rehab nurses. Providers round daily during the patient's stay.
• Uses therapy equipment including body weight support systems, treadmills, a Dynavision machine, and a simulation vehicle for transfer practice.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
• Holidays as required. Every other weekend.
