Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must have IV ultrasound guidance experience, strong IV skills, AVA Certified, PICC skills, etc.
  • Must have large trauma Level 1 experience in the last year.
  • Must be able to assess PICC lines, complete dsg changes for PICCs and administer TPA as needed.

Unit/Facility Details: PICC line placement is not a requirement but please note if traveler is certified.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Assignment is 13-16 weeks.
  • Rotating D/N, primarily days but will need to be flexible to rotate to nights as needed
  • Every other weekend required
  • Typically one week of nights followed by a week of days, but there could be mid-week rotations as well
  • Unit does their best to allow appropriate time off between rotations, typically 48 hours
  • Currently don’t have as many night needs, but really need travelers to be flexible to be utilized to fill as many of our critical vacancies as possible.
  • Monday to Sunday.

Floating Requirements: Required to float to place PIV, troubleshoot PIV and PICC lines, ports, dsg changes, draw bloods as backup, etc.

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
