You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Clinicians who live within 51-75 miles from the facility will be considered local.
Required Skills/Experience: Cardiac device knowledge, including pacemakers, loop recorders, and defibrillators.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population with electrophysiology diagnoses. Performs cardiac device checks and independently interrogates pacemakers, loop recorders, and defibrillators during office hours. Oversees remote monitoring through the vendor website and clinic scheduling systems, contacts patients by phone or portal, and sends correspondence for non-compliant patients. Triages critical symptoms and device-related issues, provides immediate intervention or escalates to the appropriate provider as needed. Performs initial post-implant device interrogation, educates patients on device function and remote monitoring expectations, and reprograms devices as directed by the electrophysiology care team.
Shift & Scheduling: Call required. Weekends as assigned. Must work at least 50 percent of holidays that occur during the contract.
