Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Required Credentials:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Preferred Credentials:

• Certifications specific to areas of clinical specialty preferred.

Unit Details:

• Responsible for triaging, assessing, and providing immediate care in a fast-paced environment for a wide range of medical conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.
• Emergency care includes administering medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments as ordered, and performing wound care and splinting.
• Responds to rapid response calls, code blue situations, and other critical situations requiring immediate intervention.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Day/evening flex with start times of 07, 09, 11, 13, and 1500.

Floating Requirements:

• Agency nurses will float to other departments where they are qualified to perform patient care before core staff is floated.
