Required Skills/Experience:
Must be labor-trained.
Required Credentials:
Fetal monitoring certification at the intermediate level or above is required.
Unit Details:
Cares for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns.
Performs triage and NSTs.
Serves as the second nurse at deliveries and manages overflow patients.
Supports patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery.
Shift & Scheduling:
May be placed on call by the OB manager up to 3 times per 13-week contract if needed.
Floating Requirements:
Occasionally floats to Med/Surg, CCU, or ER to assist.
