Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license.

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of ED experience with at least 2 prior travel contracts. Experience caring for critical care patients. Ability to care for psychiatric and pediatric patient populations.

Required Credentials: Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80% or national benchmark, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80% or national benchmark, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, 2 attempts allowed.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend or based on department needs. Every other holiday rotating with regular staff.

Floating Requirements: May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
