Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
• Trach chare, chest tube management, PIV starts, glucometer,
• Common drips: Insulin drips, Heparin drips, drips to titrate to HR not BP, must have experience with all cardiac drips
Required Credentials:
• Traveler will be required to pass and EKG competency exam during onboarding.
• ASN / BSN
Preferred Credentials: Certification in med surg is a plus.
Unit/Facility Details: Have free parking around campus or can pay to park in parking decks.
Shift & Scheduling:
• Weekend Rotation: 6 weekend shifts on a 6 week schedule (6 out of 12 shifts)
• On Call, Call Back Requirements: None
• Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
Floating Requirements: Travelers are utilized in a float pool capacity – will be required to float to all Med/Tele units in house, as needed.
