Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years current Medical Surgical experience.
• Post-op patient experience required.
• Orthopedic experience required.

Required Credentials:

• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion required.

Special Requests:

• Ability to start ASAP! This assignment allows expedited credentialing or pending credentials so you can start in under 3 weeks. Being ready and willing to quickly be credentialed by our team is a must.
• Requested time off must be noted and verified at upload. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; requests during interview, at offer, or after upload will not be approved, and requests after offer may lead to a rescinded offer.
• Once your initial RTO requested is accepted, no further negotiations of terms will occur before your start date.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.

Unit Details:

• Uses Meditech Expanse.

Shift & Scheduling:

• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted; less is better.
• Every other weekend. Holidays required if needed.
• Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two holiday blocks if scheduled/needed: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after.
• No call.
• Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.

Floating Requirements:

• Med-Surg travelers must be willing to float to any Med-Surg unit.
