Required Skills/Experience: Experience with ICU/PCU level of care.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Hemodynamic monitoring. Hemodynamic drip titration proficiency.
Unit Details: Adult-only mixed-acuity unit caring for ICU, PCU, telemetry, and med-surg level patients; patients remain on the unit from admission through discharge regardless of level of care, and ratios vary by acuity. Procedures performed on the unit include debridement, dressing changes, line insertion, chest tube insertion and maintenance, and post-op procedural care. Uses Alaris IV pumps, Hill-Rom beds and call light system, GE cardiac monitoring equipment, iMobile phones for communication, and AirStrip for cardiac rhythms. Strong multidisciplinary team with a dedicated burn surgeon and APP, intensivist, rehab, dietary, pharmacist, case management, unit-based paramedics, and 24/7 critical care intensivists.
Shift & Scheduling: 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week scheduling period.
Floating Requirements: Float to like units: ICU, PCU, and CCU. Agency staff float first when needed.
