An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Skills/Experience: Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips is required. 1 travel assignment required.
Required Credentials: Associate degree or certificate. EKG exam required during compliance.
Unit Details: Short-stay observation unit. Cares for patients with anemia, cellulitis, COPD, dehydration, and pre- and post-op urology and GI needs. Drips include Cardizem, nitro, insulin, and heparin. Average stay up to 48 hours with a high volume of admissions and discharges.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday. No call.
Floating Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed, including IMC and CTU units.
