Unit Details: Fast-paced, high-acuity unit. Patient ratios: 1:4-5 [Days], 1:5-6 [Nights]. Cares for cardio, trauma, post-op, and complex wound and burn patients. Uses IVs, PCA, epidurals, air mattresses, ketamine drips, tube feeding, NGs, drains, foleys, heparin drips, wound vac dressings, specialty beds, central lines, PICCs, PEG, trachs, chest tubes, and JPs.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.
