Required Skills/Experience: At least 3 years of experience working in an endoscopy center or GI lab. First-time travelers not accepted. Assembly/wrap and aseptic technique required. High level disinfection of procedural equipment required. Experience with colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, fiber optics, and flex sigmoidoscopes required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Back table set up and room set experience preferred. ProVation experience preferred. Olympus processor CV-190, Olympus Light Source CLV -190, Olympus scopes 190s; CO2 insufflator, CO2 tanks with regulator, Erbe cautery with electrosurgical unit, Erbe, Olympus OER Pro; HLD scope reprocessing
Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. Requires either SGNA education completion for GI/Endoscopy, or CST with 3 years of endoscopy experience.
Preferred Credentials: Surgical Tech program completion preferred.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details: Stand-alone outpatient endoscopy center. Patients with ASA 1,2, & 3; adult and geriatric patient population.
Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri. No weekends or holidays.
