Travel Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

Required Skills/Experience:
TNCC, TCAR, or experience with the care of trauma patients is required.

Special Requests:
An interview may not be available prior to offer.
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
RTO is needed upfront (7 or fewer days per 13-week contract); additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Unit Details:
Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2-3 depending on acuity.
Common diagnoses and patient care include DKA, sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac rate and rhythm control, medical detox, arterial lines, and CVP.
RNs titrate drips.
Respiratory support ranges from nasal cannula to ventilators.
RNs are required to read and interpret their own telemetry strips.

Shift & Scheduling:
Weekends and holidays as needed.
The director makes the schedule.

Floating Requirements:
First to float to Med-Surg or ER for 1:1 assignments.
