Required Skills/Experience:
2 years recent ICU RN experience in a hospital setting required.
Unit Details:
Patients may have suffered a heart attack, stroke, shock, severe trauma, respiratory distress, or other severe medical issues.
Work may include treating wounds, providing advanced life support, assisting physicians with procedures, administering intravenous fluids and medications, and suctioning.
Ventilators, monitors, and IABP are used; duties may include adjusting ventilators and IABP.
Critical care nurses may also care for pre- and post-operative patients.
Pediatric/adolescent patients may require care on occasion; there is no dedicated pediatric unit.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends on request.
Floating Requirements:
May need to float between the Lander and Riverton campuses depending on facility census.
