Required Credentials:
Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, with only two attempts permitted.
Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score, with only two attempts permitted.
Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score, with only two attempts permitted.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
CVICU and Neuro experience preferred but not required.
Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license.
Ascension Health does not accept Tdap, Varicella, or MMR declinations.
Assignment length may vary: 13-26 weeks.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend and every other holiday.
Floating Requirements:
Will float to Neuro ICU and Burn ICU; will be given patients within skill set; may be given Med/Surg/IMC patient assignments if needed; will need to float onsite within skill set or may need to float to sites within 40 miles if needed.
