Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Transitional Care Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Proficiency in cardiac required.
• EKG comfortability required.

Special Requests:

• Ability to start ASAP. This assignment allows expedited credentialing or pending credentials so you can start in under 3 weeks.
• Once your initial RTO requested is accepted, no further negotiations of terms will occur before your start date.
• Being ready and willing to quickly be credentialed by our team is a must.
• Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.

Unit Details:

• Cardiovascular unit caring for cardiology patients; procedures include PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers.
• Approximately 300 open heart surgery patients 18-24 hours post-op are discharged from this unit.
• Specializes in the care of patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies.
• National clinical trials are managed on the CVU.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend.
• On-call possible.

Floating Requirements:

• Must be willing to float to similar units.
