Travel Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have solid Neuro experience. Will take MS/Tele or PCU RNs. Amio and Cardizem drips required. Post-Watchman and ablation experience required.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Indiana residents are considered local. IU Health will not allow Indiana RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include periop/OR, allied, and ambulatory RN travelers; periop includes Endo, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, and SDS. Locals are not accepted for PCU positions.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric mixed-acuity unit comprised of both medical-surgical and progressive levels of care. Oncology and stroke unit with oncology, stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and pulmonary patients. MS patients are 1:5-6 ratio and PCU patients are 1:3-4. Will see unstable strokes, BiPap, and insulin drips.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift options: 3x12 or 4x12. Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Floating as needed.
