Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: 5+ years experience and at least 1 travel assignment.

Required Credentials: ASLS accepted in lieu of NIHSS.

Unit Details: Uses Meditech 6.15. Includes a behavioral lock-down area staffed by psych. Cares for pediatric to geriatric patients, including trauma, stroke/CVA, neuro trauma, and orthopedic cases; some neuro trauma and orthopedic patients are transferred out, and burns are not kept here. Vent patients may be held in the ER until admitted; respiratory therapy manages vents 24/7. Nurses perform their own lab draws and start their own IVs. Support staff includes nurse aides/paramedics, safety sitters, central monitoring techs, respiratory therapy dedicated to the ER 24/7, and pharmacy coverage in the department 11 hours per day with campus coverage 24/7.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday.
