Travel Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have 1 year PCU (MS-Tele experience only not appropriate) or prior ICU experience.

Special Requests:

• Will accept travel duos.
• Will consider block scheduling but not guaranteed.

Unit Details:

• Two RNs in the department at all times. Team nursing with an RN and LPN may cover a total of 7 patients.
• Common diagnoses/patient population include pneumonia/Covid, post-op knees, hips, and falls.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Self-scheduling with balancing to help fill gaps in permanent staffing.
• Every 3rd Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Floating Requirements:

• Not required to float; the other option is to go home and lose hours. May float to the ED for tasking or to take hold patients.
• Less likely to be put on call/standby if willing to float into other areas like the ED.

Previous Employment Requirements:

• Must take full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location as well.
• If previously worked with Marshfield, end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission.
• Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Required Credentials:

• Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
