An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Skills/Experience: Ability to read and interpret strips is required Associate's Degree or Certificate
Required Credentials: Will have to take an EKG exam during compliance
Unit/Facility Details: During flu season, any traveler who declines flu and COVID vaccination is required to wear a mask at all times. This is an Aspirus policy, and compliance is mandatory (No exceptions). Failure to follow the policy may result in corrective action.
Shift & Scheduling: 7a-730p, 7p-730a Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday. On Call/Call Back Requirements: Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours - can be low censused in hour increments as needed. Unit will typically low census in 4 hr increments and could ask for a traveler to work only 4 or 8 hrs of the shift. This is not considered to be on call.
Floating Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed- will float to IMC and CTU units
