Required Skills/Experience: IR and neurointerventional experience required.
Required Credentials: BLS must be AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross. Associate’s degree in radiologic technology.
Unit Details: Performs routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Angio Interventional Radiology and Neuro IR, including extra-cranial and intracranial angiography, vertebroplasty, spinal injections, myelograms, cisternograms, embolizations, cryoablations, coilings, and clot retrievals. Provides sterile and non-sterile support for IR and neurointerventional procedures, including discograms, aspirations, therapeutic injections, angiography, ablations, and tumor, epistaxis, and spinal lesion embolization cases. Uses advanced imaging equipment and UHS information systems, including IR scheduling online. May instruct students and residents and perform preceptor duties when needed.
Shift & Scheduling: On-call every other weekend. Day Rotational.
