Travel Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Unit

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience in maternal/fetal assessment, newborn assessment, and postpartum care.

Required Credentials:
Graduate of an approved school of nursing required.

Unit Details:
Provides care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period, as well as newborns.
Labor and delivery responsibilities include fetal monitoring, medication administration, and patient education.
Patient education includes postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn health.

Shift & Scheduling:
Able to work weekends, holidays, and shift rotations as needed.

Floating Requirements:
In the event that the Obstetrics unit does not have active patients, the RN will be assigned a patient load in the Med/Surg unit, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and continuity of care.
