Travel Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Unit

OR RNs only: Application must include either an OR - Circulating or an OR - Scrub skills checklist, in addition to the OR - RN checklist.

Unit Details: Antepartum and laboring patients; OB ED triage. Laboring patients, circulating on C-sections, triage on outpatients, magnesium sulfate therapy, postpartum hemorrhage care such as blood administration and Jada device, balloon inductions, Cytotec induction, Pitocin inductions, couplet care. RN ratios: laboring 1:2; active labor 1:1. Uses Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing. Level 3 NICU.

Special Requests: Time-off requests require manager approval.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. On-call 2 shifts/month, 7p-7a.

Floating Requirements: May float to Postpartum; couplet care required.
