Required Credentials: Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI

Special Requests: No travel pairs or trios.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend and On Call Requirements: To be determined by the facility.

Floating Requirement:

• The Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team that floats throughout our two campuses, BUMC-Tucson (600+ bed Level I Trauma) and BUMC-South, to provide support where necessary. PCU travelers may be floated to any of these units during their contract. Occasionally, they may be floated to the ED or the PACU to take Adult Health patients with inpatient orders waiting on a bed on a unit, although this is not common.

• BUMC-South Campus is approximately a 10-minute drive from BUMC-Tucson. It has four (4) Adult Health units (one OBS, one PCU, and two MS) which they may float.
