Preferred Skills/Experience:
CRRT training preferred.
Hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
Proficiency in hemodynamic drip titration preferred.
Unit Details:
Patient ratios vary by acuity; adult patients only.
The unit performs debridement, dressing changes, line insertion, chest tube insertion and maintenance, and post-operative procedural care.
The unit has mixed acuity, including ICU, PCU, telemetry, and medical-surgical levels; patients remain on the unit from admission through discharge regardless of level of care.
Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, Hill-Rom beds and call light system, GE cardiac monitoring equipment, and a hyperbaric chamber.
iMobile phones are used to communicate with providers and staff.
AirStrip is used for cardiac rhythms.
Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 48 per week is an option.
3 weekend shifts are required in a 4-week scheduling period.
Floating Requirements:
Float to like units, including ICU, PCU, and CCU; agency staff are first to float when needed.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
