Travel Nurse (RN) - Oncology Clinic

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must be very proficient at peripheral intravenous insertions and have peripheral blood drawing skills.
• Nurses must have skills in accessing, maintaining and de-accessing central lines, thorough assessment skills for a variety of medical conditions, and the ability to provide ongoing patient education.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Some emergency room experience preferred.

Required Credentials:

• The required ONS/OCC chemotherapy provider card is obtained through the online ONS chemotherapy and immunotherapy certificate course, not the fundamentals course.

Unit Details:

• The Viragh Infusion Clinic is a very fast-paced ambulatory oncology infusion clinic.
• Uses Beacon.
• The RN continually monitors patients throughout treatment and intervenes rapidly in emergent situations.
