Travel Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation Unit

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:
1 yr MedSurg or Rehab experience required.

Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patients age 18 and older have illnesses or injuries requiring 24-hour nursing care but are stable enough to participate in therapy. The program serves neurological and other medical conditions causing loss of function in activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, or communication.
Nursing completes a physical assessment and vital signs on admission and twice per day.
The interdisciplinary team completes the IRFPAI within three days of admission and again within three days of discharge; assessment frequency may increase with changes in patient condition.
Therapy programs are designed according to patient needs after full assessment by each discipline, including frequency, intensity, and length of stay.
Admission assessment documentation is completed by an interdisciplinary team that includes the Medical Director, registered nurse, case manager, physical therapist, and occupational therapist; other disciplines, including dietary and psychology, may contribute as indicated.
Initial assessment documentation may begin on the day of admission and be completed the following day; the interdisciplinary team must complete it within 48 hours of admission and maintain it throughout the patient stay.

Floating Requirements:
Floating to Med/Surg is required.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
