Required Skills/Experience: Ability to read telemetry strips is required. Must be able to titrate medications.
Required Credentials: Nursing Diploma. OR Associate’s Degree (ASN).
Unit Details: Primary care nurse model. Utilize a resource nurse to assist with nursing care and procedures. Neuro/neurosurgical patients, renal patients with CRRT, cardiac patients at times with balloon pumps, respiratory/vented patients, and drips. Common equipment used: ZOLL, Nihon Kohden bedside monitors, CRRT PrisMax. Common medications given: Neosynephrine, Levophed, Cardene, Cardizem, 3% saline, and pressors.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.
