Required Skills/Experience: Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required. Advanced hemodynamic monitoring. ICP monitoring (SICU/NCCU). Ventilated patients. Pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications. Assist with line insertion and maintenance. Lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients. Ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, EVD. PA lines and waveform interpretation (CVCC).
Unit Details: Neuro critical care unit caring for ischemic stroke patients requiring thrombectomy and TPA, hemorrhagic stroke patients requiring ventriculostomies and emergent evacuation, neurosurgery patients including tumor resections and brain/spine abscesses, and neuro-medical patients including meningitis, encephalitis, and neuromuscular disorders.
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating 12-hour day/night shifts: 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00. No call.
Special Requests: You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you applied for day shift, you can apply for night shift on the same unit & facility, but you cannot apply for day shift at the same unit & facility.
