Travel Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Credentials:
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
The traveler may choose a 26- or 13-week assignment.
RTO will not be considered if requested after an offer or after signing contract.
No more than 1 week of RTO will be considered for a 13-week contract and no more than 2 weeks of RTO will be considered for a 26-week contract.

Shift & Scheduling:
Shift windows are Night (19:00-7:30) or Day (7:00-19:30).
Shifts will be either days or nights, dependent on facility needs at the time of start date; caregivers are not asked to rotate between night/day shifts, with occasional exceptions for urgent staffing needs.
No call.
Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's). Preference is for travelers to be willing/able to work any holidays.
Flexible contract hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks; traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.

Unit Details:
Unit care includes Accuchecks, implanted glucose sensors, PEG tube (G-tube) feedings, Duopa pumps, IV hydration PRN, phlebotomy lab draws, peritoneal dialysis (subcutaneous only), respiratory treatments (nebulizers), and wound care.
Patient population includes dementia, Alzheimer's, TBI, plegic patients, cognitive impairments, physical impairments, and other LTC-level-of-care-appropriate diagnoses.
