You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility.
Required skills/experience: 3 years Peds CVOR experience. First Time Traveler? No, unless 5+ Peds CVOR experience.
Preferred skills/experience: Highly preferred - IV start experience, scrubbing, art line, experience circulating with these patient types: Neonates – 18; will see adult sized patients as well as infants and everything in between. Could see patients who are developmentally delayed and/or have congenital anomalies. Cardiothoracic cases – Tetralogy of Fallot, pericardial window, transposition of great vessels, open heart valve repairs, ECMO, PDA ligation through thoracotomy, ASD repairs.
Required credentials: If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.
Shift & schedule requirements:
- Weekend rotation: Call only
- On call: 1 call shift per week (EOS – following morning), 2 weekends in 6-week period (EOS Friday – Monday morning), 30-minute response time
- Shift times: 8h Days 0630 – 1530, 12h Days 0645 – 1915
Floating requirements: General OR to assist with cases when not busy in CVOR
