Required Credentials: Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned a Basic Arrhythmia exam and a Pharmacology exam. If you fail the exams twice, this will result in an immediate cancellation by the facility.
Preferred Skills/Experience: IR experience preferred.
Unit Details: Assist the physicians in all aspects of invasive procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and recording hemodynamic parameters. Assists in diagnostic interventional procedures, operating interventional and other equipment/devices as appropriate. Assist physician with administration of contrast media. Responsible for preventative maintenance of interventional equipment, including cleaning and routine safety checks. IR procedures include diagnostic and interventional peripheral procedures/venograms such as aortagram, LE, UE, visceral, carotid, AV fistula, embolization, IVC filter, lytics, dialysis, Quinton Cath, TIPS, PICC, and biopsy; non-vascular procedures include drain, G/J tube, kidney tubes, and THC biliary. Use of lead apron required.
Shift & Scheduling: 40hrs per week, 8-hour shifts (will consider 10hr shifts). Start times 07a-330p, 08a-430p and 09a-530p. On call required in rotation, for nights, weekends and holidays.
