Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: MedSurg or Tele background required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Stroke experience preferred.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. If previously employed at the facility, any exception must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System.
Unit Details: Neuro patient population includes stroke, spine/back surgeries, neck surgeries, medical neuro disorders, neuro intervention procedures, Guillain-Barré, myasthenia gravis, seizures, and EEG monitoring; cranial surgery patients are usually not assigned to travelers. 24/7 Neuroscience NP support for neuro surgery and neuro intervention patients. Uses Epic. Uses CPAP, BiPAP, high flow, and trachs.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends and holidays as needed. Nights are often scheduled 3 in a row when possible, but not guaranteed. No call.
Floating Requirements: Float to support all Treasure Valley Med-Surg areas; travelers are first to float.
