Nursery/postpartum (PP) experience preferred.
Unit Details:
Patient population includes females of childbearing years, pregnant patients at 17 weeks gestation, and laboring patients.
Scheduled procedures include C-sections, external cephalic versions, and cerclage; the unit tries not to perform cerclage on the unit.
Unit activity includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op care, vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and triage issues.
Common equipment includes fetal monitors; Fetalink is used for documentation.
