Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Intensive Care Unit

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with ventilator support, post-cardiac procedure patients including PCI, balloon pumps, Swan-Ganz, continuous renal replacement therapy, sepsis, ECMO, pulmonary emboli, post-thrombectomy, post-stroke patients, trachs, tube feeds, chest tubes, titratable drips, and DKA management.

Unit Details: Intensive care unit caring for patients requiring ventilator support, post-cardiac procedures including PCI, balloon pumps, Swan-Ganz, continuous renal replacement therapy, sepsis, ECMO, pulmonary emboli, post-thrombectomy, and post-stroke care (not hemorrhagic). Uses Plum 360 IV pumps, Omnicell med dispensing, Philips monitors, CRRT, Arctic Sun, balloon pump, EKOS, Penumbra, and pacer.

Special Requests: Holiday expectations: based on unit needs. RTO requests require manager approval. Will consider block scheduling.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation: no more than every other weekend. No on-call. Shift times: 0645-1915, 1845-0715.

Floating Requirements: Could float within scope of practice and below, including to PCU, Med Surg, and Tele.
