Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers allowed with at least 2 years’ experience, Cerner or Epic experience, and Level II trauma or higher experience. Experienced Travelers at least 2 years of critical care experience (ICU, ER, MS hold) with the most recent year in a Level II ER. Trach care, vent care, ICU drip care and maintenance, chest tube, art line, CVL, PICC, midline, port, Foley, splint/ortho device application and care, BiPAP/high flow, continuous bladder irrigation.

Special Requests: You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit and shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit and facility. Up to 7 days off may be approved, excluding blackout dates. Holiday time off prior to arrival is not contractually guaranteed. Baptist blackout 2026 RTO dates during this assignment: Labor Day weekend 8/30-9/1.

Unit Details: High-acuity Level II trauma ED that functions as a Level I. Patient population: Multi-system trauma, STEMI, stroke, CHF, COPD, GI, GU, OB/GYN, pediatrics, psychiatric. Patient ratios: 1:4 ER, 1:5 MS holds, 1:3 ICU holds. Equipment used: Plum 360 IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, Spacelabs monitors. Unit support: CNA ratio 1:12; HUC/receptionist, charge nurse, IV/VAT team, and hospitalist available; phlebotomy available until 0300; no telemetry monitoring tech. Parking: Parking garage

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation: every other weekend, or 4 weekend days per month if on block schedule. No call. One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
