References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Required Skills/Experience:
Will consider 18+ months of experience.
Must be able to titrate drips, Amio, Cardizem, and Insulin drips.
Must be able to interpret EKG.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Neuro experience highly preferred.
Special Requests:
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Holiday time off must be approved by unit manager.
Unit Details:
Neuro Tele unit (5NNB and 7NNB).
Uses WOWs.
Charge nurse takes a light patient assignment.
Tele uses central monitoring.
No vents.
No hospitalist or intensivist in house.
SWAT RN available for difficult IV sticks.
Common diagnoses/patient population include trached patients, CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, encephalopathy, ESRD, psych issues, and brain tumors.
Titrated drips include Heparin, Amio, and Cardizem.
Average length of stay is 4-5 days.
Fast-paced, high-turnover unit.
Bedside report.
Shift & Scheduling:
Maximum 7 days of time off per assignment.
4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks; weekends are Saturday and Sunday.
Holidays based on unit coverage.
Floating Requirements:
First to float to MS/Tele units; possibly Westgate or AZ General Laveen.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
