You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience: Experience in adult or pediatric critical care (ICU or high acuity ED) or prior PACU.
Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Provides 24/7 perianesthesia care for patients preparing for surgery and other procedures and recovering from anesthesia. Cares for ambulatory, acute care, and critical care patients arriving from home, the emergency department, and inpatient settings. Sees all types of cases from simple ambulatory procedures to complex traumas on critical care patients.
Shift & Scheduling: Day/evening with the possibility of some night and/or call. Potential start times: 0530, 0900, 1100, 1300, 1500, and 1900. Shift will stay the same each week, if not for the whole contract. Flexibility is needed. Uses call to support nights, weekends, and holidays. Every other weekend.
