Additional Details:

You must be willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years ICU/Neuro experience required. Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Continuous IV sedation. ICP monitoring. Vent experience. CRRT management. Spinal drains. Bolts/ICP monitoring. Any neuro experience limited and greater is acceptable; candidates with no neuro experience will not be accepted.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Neuro/stroke patient population, vascular surgeries, multi-level back surgeries, and general critical care patients. Fresh post-op craniotomy. Familiar with vent settings. A-lines and central lines. Neuro patients with NIH evaluations. HD managed by dialysis staff. CRRT managed by RN. General ICU with heavy neuro focus. No CABG or ECMO patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36, 36/48, or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend. No call.

Floating Requirements: Float to NCU and SCU; required to float to all 3 ICUs with no specific unit assignment. NCU is primarily neuro patients, but CCU and SCU can also have neuro patients. Must be willing to float to ED to care for CC admits.
