Strong Neuro experience required.
Community hospital experience is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Level I trauma experience preferred.
Required Credentials:
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests:
RTO must be listed at time of submission.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details:
Adult patient population.
The unit cares for cardiovascular, multi-trauma, gunshot, stroke, STEMI, motor vehicle accident, orthopedic, sepsis, and surgical cases, including CABG/valve/IABP and CRRT, with a high-acuity neuro population.
Unit procedures include line placement and intubation.
Cardiac and GI procedures may be performed at the bedside if the patient is unstable.
Travelers will not be required to assist with ICP monitoring or placement, IABP, conscious sedation, GI procedures, or chest tube insertions.
Equipment includes Alaris pumps, Roche meters, Philips bedside monitors, ventilators, suction, drains, and chest tubes.
Shift & Scheduling:
No weekend requirement.
No call.
Floating Requirements:
Float to PCU and ICU overflow.
Travelers do not float first; floating occurs in rotation with all team members.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
